How to use
1. Dispense 1 to 2 pumps and massage onto dry skin, over closed eyes too, until makeup and SPF dissolve.
2. Add lukewarm water and keep massaging until the oil turns into a milky rinse. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Use on its own, or follow with Gel-to-Foam or Cream-to-Foam Cleanser for a double cleanse.

Like dissolves like. On dry skin, the Linoleic-rich Lipid Complex binds to oil-soluble makeup, SPF and sebum and dissolves them. Add water and OilShift™ Technology turns the oil into a milky rinse that washes away with zero residue, while Ceramide supports the skin barrier as you cleanse. Engineered viscosity keeps it fluid enough to glide without tugging, and thick enough to hold without slipping through your fingers.

I really like this cleansing oil. It removes makeup very well and is light on the skin. It doesn’t make my eyes feel oily and cloudy after using like some other oils, but still cleans very well. There is no smell and it is pleasant to use. I received this as part of a pre-launch consumer study and I will purchase it when I use up my sample.

Disclosure: I received this product complimentary to test for two weeks as part of an official pre-launch consumer study. The following review is my honest, unbiased experience.
I am an experienced cleansing oil user, but this formula has a unique feel compared to standard oils. It has a slightly drier texture with less slip, offering more direct grip rather than a slick, runny glide. It is applied directly to dry skin. In my experience, three pumps was the sweet spot for bare skin or light makeup, and an extra pump easily broke down heavy, water-resistant sunscreen.
It does not lather when wet, yet it rinses away completely clean with zero residue. With other cleansing oils, I almost always have to follow with a second water-based cleanser. While I double-cleansed out of habit during the first few days of the trial, I quickly realized it wasn't necessary. This formula cleans deeply enough to stand entirely on its own. Instead of stripping the skin, it leaves it feeling moist, plump, and bouncy, imparting a healthy, natural glow that other oils usually don't deliver.
The formula has only a very faint, natural scent reminiscent of pure jojoba oil. It integrated seamlessly into my routine without causing breakouts or irritation, even alongside a twice-weekly retinal and occasional mild acid pore pads. It worked equally well for both morning and evening cleanses. Because a little product goes a long way, one bottle should easily last several months or more.

I tried this product as part of a pre-launch consumer study. I have been double cleansing for years and was very happy to try this product. I loved it. I have used Elemis and Dermalogica cleansing oil for years. One of the things that made Remedy stand out was the thicker texture. Dermalogica is more watery and runs down my hand as I try to apply it. I enjoyed massaging this cleansing oil into my face and neck every morning and night as part of my cleansing routine. My only small critique would be that I wished it had some fragrance as I like to use my facial massage as aromatherapy. I wear makeup and sunscreen everyday and this oil easily remove it, leaving my face feeling and looking clean. I promise you will not be disappointed if you try it, alone or double cleansing.
